The 2011 Lowestoft Between the Piers Swim will be held on 14 August 2011 with a start time of 09:30.  Registration will be at the Claremont Pier from 07:30. Forms will be available on the day.

Entry fees are:
£8.00 for Adults (16 and over as at date of swim)
£7.00 for Juniors (under 16 as at date of swim)

Medals will be given to all finishers.  There will be prizes for the top 3 in each of the following categories, both male and female:
Junior (under 16’s)
Open (16-44)
Veteran (45 & over)

The overall winners will receive a shield to keep for the year.

Competitors may choose to wear a wetsuit.  All competitors must confirm that they can complete a 1,000m sea swim in under 30 minutes.

Please note: In the event of unsuitable sea conditions on the day, a back up date has been arranged for Sunday 11 Sept 2011, however if the swim goes ahead on the 14, the 11 will be used as a elite class swim, details and confirmation of this will follow on Monday 15 August.
